Bait and Switch - Different Shirt Brand than Advertised

The Shirt Received is not what is advertised. The Advertisement shows a nice form fitting shirt quality similar to American Apparel Fine Jersey T-Shirt #2001A, a Short Sleeve Bella + Canvas #BC3001U, or a True Classic type of fit, but what I received was a cheap Gilden Brand "Over-sized" and "Boxy" shirt that looks terrible... I even contacted the company and received zero response.

Design and shirt not as advertised

The designs front and back were not as advertised. The printing is like an iron-on trader rather than screen printed as it appeared to be in the ad, so the design does not have the softer, older look as in their picture, but sharp lines and bold colors. Since it’s not screen printed with shirt paint, I don’t expect it to last. Also, the sizes of the designs are not as pictured. The main design on the back is considerably smaller and doesn’t fill the back of the shirt as pictured, and the 1776 design on the front is much bigger and doesn’t look like just a chest-size design.
Despite acknowledging these differences, Godmerch still would only offer a 30% refund, rather than a full refund due to misrepresentation, so I’m stuck with shirt that looks bad and I won’t wear. See pics on me vs their model. Very disappointed in the shirt and the company, especially with the company named Godmerch.

Front logo was incorrectly sized and incorrectly placed

I was excited for this shirt but when it arrived the 1776 on the front was twice the size it should have been and located near my left armpit opposed to over the chest where it should have been. I texted the number that had reached out previously to inform them of the issue but I didn't get a response over text. Its possible they have tried to call me but the calls were flagged as spam, however no voicemails were left. I really did want this shirt and after spending over 40 USD for a t-shirt I was very disappointed in the end.

Uncomfortable shirt

It is a cheap iron-on type graphic. It is crunchy to the touch. Very disappointing.

Thick, Heavy heat transfer design

I was very disappointed when I received my t-shirt and found the large design on the back of my shirt was implemented using a thick heat transfer method called Direct-to-Garment (DTG). I tried to return the shirt and they wouldn't let me because they said that is their "standard manufacturing process". I told them if I was able to have felt this shirt at a retail location I never would have bought it. If I had worn this outside on a hot day, it would have just stuck to my back. From the time I contacted support to the time they told me I could not return it was 18 days.

Bad return/exchange policy

Wanted to return my July 4th t-shirt for a larger size, and they wouldn’t allow it, as it was personalized?? Be careful about returns/exchanges. Will not buy from them again, unfortunately.

Took too long to show up. Shipping is not definitive. Shirt is decent, but the rest of the process is lack luster at best.
